Tern Agents, in private beta

Hand small issues to an agent and review its pull request.

Tern Agents can now pick up issues from your board. Assign a well-scoped issue to an agent the way you would a teammate: it reads the issue and its linked code, opens a branch, and comes back with a pull request for a person to review.

How it works

Assign any issue to Agent from the assignee menu or with A
The agent comments its plan on the issue before it starts
Its pull request links back, so the issue moves to In review on its own
Nothing merges without an approval from someone on the team

Agents work best on small, clear issues: a bug with steps to reproduce, a copy change, a missing empty state. Give them those first and see what comes back.
