Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and Tern Software, Inc. when you use Tern. Please read them; they are short.
Using Tern
You may use Tern to plan and track your work, and invite the people you work with. You must be at least 16, and if you sign up for a company, you must be allowed to agree to these terms for it.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us at once if you think someone else has used them. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace.
Your content
What you put in Tern stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you. Export it whenever you like.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed per person, monthly or yearly, in advance. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Prices can change with 30 days' notice.
Acceptable use
- Do not break the law or other people's rights with Tern
- Do not try to get into workspaces or systems that are not yours
- Do not overload the service or resell it without our agreement
Ending
You can delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend a workspace that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law stops us.
Liability
Tern is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email the workspace's admins at least 30 days before the change applies.
