The brief
Harbour Mail asked before every archive. People clicked through the dialog without reading it, and still wrote in when something went missing.
We removed the question. Archive happens at once, and a small pill offers it back for five seconds. Archive three in a row and the pill counts them, so one undo returns all three.

What took longest
The timer. Five seconds is long enough to notice and short enough to forget, but only if it stops while you are deciding. The pill pauses under the pointer and while it has focus, and starts again from where it was.
The rows close up behind an archived thread on the smooth spring, so the list never jumps under the pointer you are about to use again.
