You will work with Ravi Menon on making them faster to start, harder to escape and easier to operate from a distance.
What you'll do
- Run and improve our Firecracker sandbox fleet.
- Cut cold starts in customers' accounts, where we control the image but not the machine.
- Build the runner's upgrade, signing and telemetry paths.
- Work with Nadia Karim's security team on isolation and audits.
What we look for
- Four or more years running production infrastructure on Linux.
- Experience with virtualisation or container isolation.
- Go or Rust.
- A calm hand during incidents.
