About the lab. Orrin Labs was founded in 2024 to build agents that do real engineering work, and to make sure a person stays in charge of what they ship.

Mission

Most software breaks in small, dull ways, and fixing it takes the hours people would rather spend building. We think an agent can take that first look, carefully and in the open, if it is built to show its work and to ask before it acts. That is the whole of what we are trying to do.

01Show the workEvery run is a record anyone on the team can read: what Orrin looked at, what it tried and why it stopped.
02Ask before actingAn agent that changes your code without asking is a liability. Orrin never merges, and never will.
03Measure in productionWe publish how often Orrin's fixes merge unchanged, from real teams, and the times it gets things wrong.

Orrin Labs has raised $34 million. Fieldstone Ventures led the seed in 2024 and Amberline Capital led the Series A in March 2026, with Northbeam and engineers and founders from the teams we admire.
