The Payments team owns every dollar that leaves or arrives at Larch. You will work on the ledger, the connections to our partner banks and the approval rules that keep money moving only the way a company decided.
What you will do
- Design and ship features across the payments stack, from the API to the bank file
- Make the ledger faster and easier to reason about, with correctness first
- Work with Compliance on the screening every payment passes
- Take your turn on call, with a rotation of six engineers
What you bring
- Five or more years building production systems, ideally where money or data integrity mattered
- Comfort with TypeScript or Go, and with Postgres
- Care for the details of distributed systems: idempotency, retries, reconciliation
- Clear writing; most decisions here start as a short document
