On Thursday night at the Cinema São Jorge, the Lisbon Design Awards named Tessera studio of the year. It is the first time the award has gone to a studio of fewer than fifty people, and the first time it has gone to us.
The jury looked at everything we launched between September 2025 and August 2026. They singled out three projects: the Atlas Rail booking flow, the Halden Coffee shop and the Mono Records sleeve system. Atlas also won the award for digital product.
The work is quiet in the best sense. Nothing is there to impress the jury; everything is there for the person using it.
Who made it
An award like this goes to a studio, but it is earned by people. Twenty-four of them, and the clients who trusted us with work that mattered to them. Thank you to Atlas Rail, Halden, Mono, Kite, Fenna and Ostra for letting us show what we made together.
The trophy is on the shelf by the door. Come and see it; we are taking new projects from February.
